Welcome to the Online Database for the African Climate Change Fellowship Program! START, IRA-University of Dar es Salaam, and The African Academy of Sciences are collaborating to develop and implement the African Climate Change Fellowship Program. The Program will offer opportunities that enable researchers, graduate students, and professionals to build capabilities for advancing and applying knowledge for climate change adaptation in Africa. This database compiles responses to a recent institutional survey that solicited interest in the Program and thoughts about needs and opportunities that it might address. The database was created as a tool to help match applicants, Host Institutions, and Home Institutions that are searching for Fellowship ideas and opportunities.
1.Please select one of the three options (Organization, Individual(s) or Advance Search).
2.If you want to search for a person, or group or persons, select "individual(s)". You can search by name, country, or by city. It will deploy all the information which you have requested. You can also use Sectors of interest i.e. Economics.
3.If you want for the organization, you can also search by country, City, Primary Mission, Secondary mission etc.
4.Advanced Search is for combination of two or more criteria which you want.
5.After you have obtained the record(s), if you click on individual person or organization, it will give you details and full contact address and other related information.
6.Once you click on the link, the "Organization Profile" window appears, the words at the top are TABS and are clickable.
a. If you click on ORGANIZATION PROFILE, you will see the organization profile.
b. If you click on ORGANIZATION HOSTS, you will get details of the hosting organizations.
c. If you click on ORGANIZATION PARTICIPATES, you will get details of participating organizations.
d. If the organization does not participate or hosts, then one of the TABS will be GRAYED and disabled for clicking.
In order to search by keyword List all keyword you want to search by separate the by comma(,)
